As a photographer, I always aim to capture the beauty and emotion in the world around me. And in 2022, I had the most wonderful year as a photographer. My name is Tim Engle, and I have been a photographer for 27 years. This year was not only the most fun I've had, but it was also incredibly fulfilling.
Location Scouting
Scouting your own locations for photography can be a powerful tool for serving your clients. By taking the time to personally explore and evaluate different locations, you can gain a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics and potential of each location. This can help you to better visualize and plan for the types of shots you want to capture, and to identify any challenges or limitations that may arise during the shoot.
Executive portraits
As a professional corporate photographer, I've had the opportunity to work with some fantastic clients. I've been blessed to have had such a great year, and I look forward to continuing my work in the coming year.
Life In The Gym
I realized the other day that this year marks 40 years that I've been working out in the gym. Other than during the pandemic, I've not been away from the gym for more than two weeks at a time. Not to give away my age, but I started as a very young teenager.
I consider the two most influential men in my life being my father, John Engle and Bill Cambera. This post is mainly about Bill and his influence on my life.
Telum Dagger
I love product photography and have been doing more of it lately.
I've always been fascinated by custom-made knives. I recently purchased Telum dagger from Bastinelli Knives and was inspired by the design to make some images.
Designer Handbags
At the end of last year, I had a fantastic opportunity to work with Mary Frances Accessories to showcase some new handbag designs.
The G.O.A.T
Recently I was asked to photograph Jerry Rice, a retired San Francisco 49er wide receiver, NFL Hall of Famer, and one of the athletes that I watched growing up. I have a great friend Stephanie Suddarth who is now the general manager of his energy drink company called G.O.A.T. fuel (Greatest of All Time).
